It's Official: Xbox Has a Full-Blown Identity Crisis

Xbox is treating the ROG Xbox Ally like a true-blue Xbox, despite the fact that any regular console gamer might get confused when they load up their device and realize OneDrive and Microsoft Teams come pre-installed, and their Xbox-specific games cannot run on the handheld hardware Fucking Teams, ma

Xbox but not Xbox

No idea wtf the other person is talking about but Xbox has been going off the deep end lately with their new price increases, causing a huge uproar. 7 year old consoles are somehow getting their prices raised 50-100 bones, Game Pass getting a huge price hike so many are unsubscribing, the ROG Ally X

ROG Xbox Ally World Premier Reveal Trailer | Xbox Games Showcase

Would've been hyped for it if it had some sort of Xbox OS, but a rebranded/slightly different form Rog Ally isn't all too exciting.

I am so glad I chose the Steam Deck over the Xbox Rog Ally.

I choose an ROG Ally X because I wanted “a bigger battery”… I ended up getting a Steam Deck OLED as well later because I wanted the track pads. The interesting thing I found is that the deck is just SO optimised that the battery performance is the same as the Ally X is almost every game. Example, my

The screen is actually great?

Even the next ROG Ally X by ASUS and Microsoft which costs $700-$1000 doesn’t have an OLED VRR screen because it doesn’t exist (edit: and ASUS has confirmed that they weren’t willing to compromise on VRR to put an OLED panel in there). I don’t know why people seem to be holding Nintendo to a standar

Destin was one of the lucky ones to try the new RoG Ally X and confirmed what many were wondering: Yes, he was able to install his own library and played PlayStation Studios games like Spider-Man via Steam.

...isn't that just any other normal Rog Ally though.

Legion Go 2 (OLED VRR) vs ROG Ally X (LCD VRR): Is the gap as big as we think?

100%. I returned my Rog Xbox Ally X due to the screen size just not doing it for me (as well as the Windows OS just being a pain for handheld still). As soon as I used an 8" screen on the Legion Go S, I immediately felt the same. 8" is perfect size for all games without being so big it doesn't feel

AMD Throws Loyal Radeon Customers Into The Trash

Aka: The Steam deck but with Asus and Xbox branding for more edit: Ryzen Z2 A GPU (CPU is listed in notes) and Steam Deck GPU (CPU in console notes) If you lot look at this and think its not the same Chip, you're an idiot and believing Microsofts crappy advertising. Same architecture, same GPU name,

PlayStation studios were apparently briefed on the PS6 handheld today

From all accounts it will be a ps version of a steam deck No, it's a portable that plays most PS4 games (no VR), PS5 games that support low power mode (though if Sony was smart, they'd give us the PS4 versions of these games since most PS5 games have them), PS6 games built to support the hardware.
