AMA w/ ASUS Mini PC Team to Discuss the ASUS NUC 16 Pro and ASUS ExpertCenter PN55 4/10 12PM-2PM PDT
10G networking and two M.2 2280 slots would be nice. I really don’t like the mixed M.2 sizes on the ASUS NUC 15 Pro.

Asus NUC 15 Pro with Intel Ultra 5 225H CPU. It has all the ports you need, durable, and full X86 compatibility.

Seeking: MiniPC/SBC with PCIE 5 +2 nvme current gen cpu
Had not run into the Evo-T1. That said it looks like the final vesion has no PCIE 5.0, 3x NVMe 4.0 and an occulink aint shabby, but a hair short. Also looks like they went with H series Core 200, not V for the final design. Which actually I prefer but so close. I'd rate this on par with the near mis

Mini PC for 4k 240hz oled
Any with a legit HDMI 2.1 port. Some are HDMI 2.0 ports with "HDMI 2.1 TMS" lables. They only support up to 4k resolution and 60hz. Some examples with a real HDMI2.1 port: BeeLink SER9 and Asus NUC 15 Pro. Both are on the expensive side of mini-PCs. $900 or higher.

ASUS NUC 15 Pro with tall chassis is advertised as having a 2.5" drive bay but I cant find any way to access it if it even exists. Any ideas?
I was definitely wrong about this, it’s not there, there’s a different port expander that exists for the tall SKU. The lack of this port is documented in ASUS marketing materials. https://www.asus.com/us/displays-desktops/nucs/nuc-mini-pcs/asus-nuc-15-pro/techspec/

asus nuc 15 pro vs minisforum x1
Depends on how you plan on using it. The Asus NUC 15 Pro is built for general office work, data analysis, programmers, and photo editors. Gaming is a side perk, but not the focus. It is also more durable and has a far better port layout. Minisforum X1 is mostly built for Linux programmers and gamers

Seeking: MiniPC/SBC with PCIE 5 +2 nvme current gen cpu
True enough. But access to 4x4 lane 4.0 PCIe without forgoing wifi isn't too shabby in the package. Maybe some hope for a later bios update to turn 1-2 of those into 5.0 as has happened with some devices? Doesnt have the shortcoming of one of the nvme slots being a 2242 either. So a decided argument

Coming into 2026, and without no way software requirements for the office, I'd say something along the lines of an ASUS NUC 13 Pro NUC13ANKI7 Slim with the Core i7-1360P, 32GB RAM & a 1TB. Here's an example of one a shop customer purchased recently from Amazon to replace aging hardware. If you have

Meerkat 10 - Windows 11 Pro Driver for TPM
Are you still using Win11 on your Meer10? The TPM module (TPM platform module 2.0) installed for me with a driver pack from Asus or Intel, not sure which brought it in. I installed the Intel driver and support assistant installer which auto detected my components, and the .bat that came with the dri
