On one hand, yes. On the other hand, apparently rumours say these will be A chips not M chips, and the M4 Mac Mini starts at 16gb ram where the budget laptops will probably be 8gb, so there seem to be tradeoffs there to make the build cheaper. Pricing at over $599 would be a bad move IMO

If we want a full picture: Mac Mini reserves some RAM for the system so you should probably get 24gb versions at least. Best would be some 96gb or higher Mac Studio or smth like that.
