I guess I'm weird and irregular... I upgraded from an M1 Max Mac Studio to an M4 Pro Mac mini and love it. I'm able to emulate games in RPCS3 at higher resolutions with better FPS. The CPU improvements are noticeable. I also have an M4 MacBook Air but I find myself using my Mac mini much, much more.

Do people play the game on their MacBooks?

Ps5 Pro now after Sony’s latest move?
Do it, your plan sounds great. PS5 Pro is the sweet spot and I did basically the same thing just before the price hike. We're also an Apple household. I got back into gaming recently by playing Windows games through CrossOver on my M4 Pro Mac Mini. It worked very well (finished Expedition 33 on it)

Recent Dofus performance on MacOS)
Be aware of the amount of RAM you have. Dofus is a shitty game for that. I run 4 accounts in a M4 Pro Mac Mini. Works great but very RAM hungry (about 4gb per account)
