Help me out here, convince me
I’d still recommend the Bambu Labs P1S in this case. The controversy around Bambu is mainly about their closed ecosystem and the move to block third-party apps, not about the quality or reliability of the printers themselves. As for the Anycubic Kobra S1, I’ve watched a number of reviews and seen qu

Snapmaker U1… why have you forsaken me???!
That’s an interesting assumption. You’d be wrong. But interesting nonetheless. Honestly, no clue what caused and I likely won’t until I get the blob off and take a look at the nozzle. I had this happen on my old Anycubic Kobra S1 printing PETG-CF and it was because the nozzle started leaking (someth

💩Which poop basket is your favorite ?
I use this one: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/anycubic-kobra-s1-poop-chute-catch The downside is it doesn’t detach but I chose it because it doesn’t block the fan vent! A lot of them do! Since Anycubic cheaped out on a lot of stuff with this to get the price down, I wouldn’t fancy altering es

It's finally arrived! Excited and weary at the same time
Fwiw I love mine, minor grumbles and all - my first FDM so it's been a learning experience. If I had any advice, it would be the common issues I've seen popping up here and experienced myself: - Be wary when changing/removing/replacing hotends - be sure to seat the hotend all the way up when you pul

I think they sold me a product with missing parts
Unfortunately, I have experience recently with this assembly. I definitely see an extruder screw missing on the mid-right. May be good to check out these pictures and videos from AnyCubic. https://wiki.anycubic.com/en/fdm-3d-printer/kobra-s1-combo/extruder-module-replacement-guide

Anycubic regrets?
100% Regret! Had an Anycubic i3 Mega since 2017. Replaced the hot end twice, other than that zero issues. The power supply finally died back in September. Based on prior experience, I thought it was a no brainer to buy a Kobra S1 combo. I printed the test benchy and that was it. I had cutter issues,

$600 paper weight
You can troubleshoot it but if you have it under warranty, claim it and just get a replacement. The beds often taco themselves (I bought funssor bed and gantry to solve this issue) and the hotends are extremely bad (I bought microswiss to solve this). If you want it working as advertised you do have

any advice on Petg?
Dry it. Dry it well. And when you think it's dry, dry it some more... Assuming you have the S1 Combo/Ace Pro, you're going to want to dry it for days if my experience is anything to go by (living in the UK it's fairly humid/wet, especially as I live in a river town). PETG typically needs 60-70C to d
