Is it actually worth it to buy OLED or other above average monitor for gaming?

If you can afford it, yes. Anyone who tells you otherwise doesn't have an OLED. I recommend you avoid QD-OLEDs though. QD-OLEDs have more issues in my opinion compared to WOLEDs. I recently returned an Alienware AW2725D QD-OLED monitor, and I can't recommend QD-OLEDs after experiencing their purple

Need help to reduce cost with minimal performance loss.

I'd recommend you go for B850 Aorus elite wifi7 motherboard instead. It's top of the line B850 board which will easily handle overclocking even with ryzen 9 CPUs. It also has a much better I/O selection except it lacks the USB 4 port which imho you can easily live without. As others have suggested,

I am looking for monitor recommendations. 34 inch ultrawide curved

I’m very happy with my Alienware AW3425DW in my main gaming rig, it’s a glossy HDR 1000 spec OLED, 240Hz 1440p monitor. Bought it on sale for $954 AUD which was much cheaper than the curved IPS ultrawides which were in the $1600 AUD ballpark. I also have 3x 27” Samsung G50SF OLED monitors (bought on

Disappointed with this Monitor

I have this one too. I got an oled Alienware aw2725D a couple weeks ago to use instead. (Very nice btw) Dark areas are just not very good with this LG. The build quality seemed good and displaying colorful scenes/videos was good, just the blacks/darks were crap. I mostly play survival horror games a
