tl;dw No, because you can't get it for $500 and because comparable $530 Alienware AW2725D exists.

O Alienware

I have that Alienware AW2725D sitting in my room waiting to be returned. I couldn't stand the QD-OLED fringing. Some people don't find it bothersome, others like myself find it unbearable. I'm currently using an LG 27GS95QE WOLED and I'm waiting for the recently released 280Hz Tandem WOLEDs to becom

If you can afford it, yes. Anyone who tells you otherwise doesn't have an OLED. I recommend you avoid QD-OLEDs though. QD-OLEDs have more issues in my opinion compared to WOLEDs. I recently returned an Alienware AW2725D QD-OLED monitor, and I can't recommend QD-OLEDs after experiencing their purple

I would say 7/10 for the QD-IPS monitor and 9.5/10 for the QD-OLED monitor. The OLED is close to being perfect, I just wish I went for a glossy OLED (like the Alienware AW2725D) that has a proper HDR rating (AW2725D can do HDR 1000) - my Odyssey G5 is a matte finish OLED and it might be able to hit

272urx is the newest MSI model and it's great price to performance balance. There's legion pro 27ud, it uses the same panel as MSI, so the visuals are the same. It doesn't hav as many features tho, so the price is lower. There's also Alienware AW2725D. Same panel as the other two. Shittiest software

Deffo upgrade your monitor. I went from a 6750 XT to a 9070 XT and first thing I did was buy me a sweet high refresh 1440p OLED monitor. (It's the Alienware AW2725D if you're interested). It's a massive step up from a 1080p IPS monitor. 9070 XT is massively overkill for 1080p. It's a competent 1440p
