I heard a lot of mini pcs are shipped with bloatwares or malwares, is this true?

Kamrui, Acemagic and Acemagician were caught shipping with malware. If you come across those brands best to buy barebones and use your own, seperately acquired, drive/os. In truth, so many miniPC brands exist that you could really just ignore those names (it’s really one brand).

Do you recommend I buy an Acemagic mini PC?

Bad support, cheap parts, known to have pre-installed malware. The issue with a lot of Acemagic/Kamrui/Acemagician miniPCs is that, even if you do a fresh install of Windows, the drivers for the insanely obscure parts like wifi can only be found on obscure chinese websites or forums.

Best tiny client for 4k 120+hz

I see a lot of people suggest NUC PCs with Radeon GPUs in them. I'm not sure how much that has improved over the last couple of years but the last time I tried a NUC with a radeon GPU in it, the decode latency was awful. Like 20+ ms. So nearly unusable even though it supposedly supported AV1 and HEV

Acemagic|Is 32GB RAM Still Overkill in 2025? Here's What We're Seeing from the ACEMAGIC Community

I'm glad you asked this question. I bought the Matrix M1 so by default it comes with 16GB single-channel DDR5 RAM. I wanted to dual boot Windows and CachyOS which is a Linux distro. I do a lot of multi-tasking on both operating systems. I noticed when gaming I would experience the video lagging behi

Computer advice!

Go Beelink, not only is the CPU better but they’re more trusted. AceMagic/Acemagician are well known to give you a version of windows that is full of spyware/malware, if you do go Acemagic because it’s cheaper, understandable but you should use your own version of windows and install it from a USB d

Acemagic M1 Ryzen 6800H experience so far

Acemagic M1 is my second hardware. I run linux on it and it's working solid with small noisy. I’m planning to migrate data from the old device and looking for the safest way.

Acemagician M1

Acemagic M1 (the one with 6800H cpu is the same as you talk?) i just received it, it's quite noisy for my taste, I think I will try to mod it with a better fan. For the malaware part I did not even used the preinstalled OS, just formatted and installed nobara linux, I'm not a linux fan, but for my h

Minipc has so many choices!!!

So far so good. "ACEMAGICIAN M1": Ryzen 7 6800H, "Juhor" 16GB DDR5, "Rayson" 512GB SSD. I replaced the stick of RAM with a Crucial 32GB 5200MHz stick and added another 512GB SSD that I had. I scanned the original drive with Windows defender, it didn't detect anything wrong (I know this was a concern

Mini PC Reccomendations

Acemagic, I have that M1 too. I dual boot with Linux CachyOS and Windows 11. It's been working great in both environments. I think 500GB is plenty. U can check other series~

Best Bang for the Buck?

Due to build quality & customer service, many CYX manufactured mPCs (Acemagic, Acemagician, Kamrui, NiPoGi, etc) have made poor long-term investments in the past year or so. Having said that, historically, I've been quite fond of the AM06 PRO platform with the exception of the 5500U/5700U versions.
