Do you use cameras?
I use the WYZE Cam V3. Has good night vision and alerts with movement. Got it from Amazon. Expect them to try to climb on it if it’s in reachable distance lol.

Tips and best practices for recording video of yourself sleeping?
If you’re recording in the dark, that’s where things get tricky. Most phone cameras struggle in true darkness, so unless you sleep with a lamp on, you’ll barely see anything. If you want actual night vision, a cheap indoor security cam is the easiest fix. Something like a Wyze Cam v3, TP-Link Tapo,

Grow Cam
I use a Wyze cam v3 pro, and bought an additional storage chip for it It films in 2K, has good night vision, and can take medium length Timelapse’s (if you do more than a week timelaspe set the time interval to 10+ min) There’s an app on your phone you monitor it from, can take screenshots, and mana

Man vs AI - Can You Beat the Machine?
Does it do timelapse for you? I was thinking about getting a spectron cause my Wyze v3 just broke its mounting hardware. I only use the Wyze to check in from away from the house or take a timelapse. It doesn’t pick up temperature or swap to night mode when lights go out so I’ve been debating. But th

Wyze but not so cheap?
lol .. no. for starters after wyze v3 is trash. on v4 models they bolted down installing popular custom firmware like Thingino. The products they offer are "acceptible" to play with back during covid era. the thing you are recommending is only 3k resolution. I have buyers remorse of buying the 8 meg

V3 or V4 for Reptile Vivarium?
Fixed over pan, agreed with both replies, and for a vivarium there is a second reason nobody mentioned: the pan motor is audible and it lives right next to an animal that cannot walk away from it. The V4 is the better camera in general, wider field of view and more detail, but that only pays off if

Finally Done with Wyze! They jumped the shark.
Wyze isn't terrible value for the hardware. From the Thingino perspective, once you've flashed the cam, the brand and their listed feature set doesn't matter. What does still matter is the relative power of the processor they used, the quality and resolution of their image sensor, and the performanc

Installing Thingino on Wyze Cam V2, V3, and Pan V1
wondering about the color night mode thing too. Tried all the options but it doesn't look anything like color night mode from normal Wyze cam v3. Any advice?? Color night mode doesn't use IR does it??
