I was also using a Wyze Cam (v3) with frigate but switched away due to reliability issues like these. In my case, I saw errors like this because WiFi instability was causing packet loss and frigate (or rather, ffmpeg) was unable to decode the “corrupt” video stream.

Totally agree about Wyze. I've been running Thingino on number of V3 cam but no support for the OG. Wyze-Bridge was decent for a while until it the api was broken. Never managed to get Cryze to work with the OG to support the Gwell backend. I started with Tapo C120 cams as an alternative a while ago

It works great, as long as you have a reliable internet connection. RTSP firmware unchains you from having to use wyze services, you can use your cameras with whatever service you want that supports RTSP. Unifi cameras managed with Unifi Protect. I had run Unifi networking gear for years and my Dream Machine Pro router includes a hard drive bay and Protect built in. I have a mix of PoE and USB powered cams plus their Doorbell Pro. WAY better experience than Wyze. I still use some other Wyze products

Currently have two Wyze Cam V3's. They are super simple to setup and are overall pretty reliable. They give us peace of mind that we can check on the house when we aren't home. Love that you can get the basics for free unlike other similar cameras from other companies.
