Viewing Wyze cam other than phone app
The fix is to stop viewing through the Wyze app entirely and put the cameras behind your own RTSP/WebRTC layer, then throw a kiosk dashboard on the TV. Easiest route, no firmware flashing: docker-wyze-bridge (mrlt8 on GitHub). It logs into your Wyze account, pulls most cams (including the 2K/v4 stuf

Privacy concerns with PrusaConnect - desperately need better offline/local tools.
I share your frustration that the incredible gap in feature parity between link and connect. The hardware on the printer can't possibly host the full-fat experience that their cloud UI offers but they could at least open up details on the API and allow us to roll our own. In any case, I use Thingino

frigate 0.17 isnt happy with my wyzecam for some reason
I was also using a Wyze Cam (v3) with frigate but switched away due to reliability issues like these. In my case, I saw errors like this because WiFi instability was causing packet loss and frigate (or rather, ffmpeg) was unable to decode the “corrupt” video stream.

How to power USB camera on a Landroid M?
Thin ribbon right angle USB cable - approx $4 on aliexpress, it tucks under the seal and outside. I have a Wyze Cam v3 connected with it (no photo it's night here!). Has worked fine for 3 years or so.

Which doorbel + cameras ecosystem do you prefer?
Unifi. G6 entry and G6 Turrets. The POE response time is outstanding. Recently migrated from a Wyze Cam setup. Those are good cams, just didn’t really like the ecosystem or response time. I feel like they lost their way. I was an OF fanboy too ☹️. I’ve started migrating my Wyze V3 cams to thingino an

WiFi RTSP Camera that doesn't need an app to setup
reolink works great, but if you get some Wyze V3's those can work with thingino firmware which effectively makes them app-less. Note that V4 are NOT supported

any bonding tips? and camera recommendation?
I love my wyze cam v3. I have two in my hammy’s enclosure. I personally don’t recommend wireless, because the charge doesn’t last very long. U could pick one that’s battery powered I guess. The first cam I bought was wireless and it lasted for 2 hours, maybe less. I personally like having the cam. I

what firestick to buy to run tinycam pro?
I love it when people so confidently say stuff like "no it doesn't" or "you are wrong" without doing a little research first. go2RTC natively supports Wyze cams (locally) now, even without RTSP. It's better than the the new RTSP firmware because is also supports two way audio. I tested it on a Wyze

Do you use cameras?
I use the WYZE Cam V3. Has good night vision and alerts with movement. Got it from Amazon. Expect them to try to climb on it if it’s in reachable distance lol.
