I'm absolutely done with Wyze. What is a good reliable alternative?

Just getting into Wyze cameras. Had the pan duo cam for around a month now, it sits on the wall outside my garage. Also a Wyze cam OG outside the front door. Both have been awesome. It’s never skipped or missed any movement, even at -20°C. I didn’t buy the subscription service and I didn’t even sign

Solar Power for Wyze Cam

It just won't work reliably. I've been playing with solar since the first Wyze cam was introduced. Solar panels work great on battery cams. Hardwired cameras have a MUCH larger power appetite so you need batteries in the system and a panel big enough to both power the camera and charge the batteries

Support Megathread - March 2026

All my wyze products have been great. Except my 3 cam OGs that are all brought in 2025. After a couple days of usage they brick and flash blue and red led. I have to factory reset them each time and it's a pita. Latest firmware.

Help with Flint 2

I think C is the correct answer. I have a bunch of various Wyze cameras and recently when I switched out the (different) router it took me half a day to get the Wyze stuff to reconnect. I switched the security to WPA3-Personal Transition and after a few minutes they all connected. I just played with

Wyze Cam Plus is a joke, constant “failed to load” errors

I have - currently - 11 Wyze cameras up and running. Yes, I pay for CamPlus and have few issues. I do have a few SD cards in cameras, but that’s mainly to record Timelapse when the opportunity is ripe. Anything from first v2s (now over 7 years old) to OGs (about 18 months old).

Looking for suggestions for a bird feeder with camera that doesn’t have AL identification or need a subscription?

We love our Wyze Bird Feeder! have had it a year. We also have Wyze Pan cams outside and have used them for several years. Our original OG Wyze cam worked for 5 years outside in the snow and ice of Northern Ohio. We've moved further west and that camera worked like a champ for another 2 years. 7 yea

Wyze cam outage

I posted on several spots but these were the OG outdoor Cube that have to connect to a router I now have 10 of the wyze battery cam Pro and they run off Wi-Fi so that's a whole different ball game, you wouldn't have to be home for them. I've always had Wireless cameras but I love the Wireless wyze ca

Monthly Complaints and Rants MegaThread April 2026

Dude, I've been yelling at my hub all month. To the point where actually hitting it with a sledgehammer would be cathartic. I have to ask it to play a song on spotify approx. 15 different ways for it to actually play what I asked it to. Any time I ask it to "show" a camera it hears "shut" and tells

Why do SD cards in my Wyze cameras always stop working??

I think you're correct; the HE cards have a thicker layer of gold plating on the contacts, which is almost certainly what's fixing the problem (despite the OG Telephoto having weather proofing gaskets, which still blows my mind). My camera wasn't even in direct weather, it's INSIDE my garage facing

Issue with all types of Wyze Cam's and mesh networks

Is the experience any better on one WiFi network versus another? For example, when my phone is on the same WiFi network as one of my smart locks the app that controls the lock is much more responsive and reliable. When I'm on the WiFi network at my house the smart lock isn't also on then it's much s
