Just getting into Wyze cameras. Had the pan duo cam for around a month now, it sits on the wall outside my garage. Also a Wyze cam OG outside the front door. Both have been awesome. It just won't work reliably. I've been playing with solar since the first Wyze cam was introduced. Solar panels work great on battery cams. Hardwired cameras have a MUCH larger power appetite so you need batteries in the system and a panel big enough to both power the camera and charge the batteries

All my wyze products have been great. Except my 3 cam OGs that are all brought in 2025. After a couple days of usage they brick and flash blue and red led. I have to factory reset them each time and it's a pita. Latest firmware.

I think C is the correct answer. I have a bunch of various Wyze cameras and recently when I switched out the (different) router it took me half a day to get the Wyze stuff to reconnect. I have - currently - 11 Wyze cameras up and running. Yes, I pay for CamPlus and have few issues. I do have a few SD cards in cameras, but that’s mainly to record Timelapse when the opportunity is ripe. Anything from first v2s (now over 7 years old) to OGs (about 18 months old).
