What is your go to gear for TRS or LRS (Lead/Top rope solo) ?
Hopefully OP means a Wild Country Revo and not a Petzl Reverso for LRS. Absolutely do not LRS with a Reverso.

Burn on rope
It's a combination of the larger peak force on LRS, plus the larger rope diameter. Every belay device has its sweet spot WRT rope size.
