Update: I did test successfully with 6x Lexar NM790 4TB (after having issues with the WD Red SN700 and after having received a replacement unit from beelink - beelink tested those drives successfully according to their reply here, so very likely my first unit was defective).

Depends what you use it for. For casual home use, not so critical to have NAS rated NVME like WD Red SN700. Samsung, crucial etc all solid. Heat dissipation is the issue with high performance NVME's, thats why Ugreen advise not to get carried away with latest generation. Ugreen list is what has been
