There's a table at the end of this article with brands that were tested. https://www.neowin.net/news/report-microsofts-latest-windows-11-24h2-update-breaks-ssdshdds-may-corrupt-your-data/ NG Lv. 2 is the one you really don't want to have (drive broken) and it looks like that hits the WD Blue SA510.

So I have had a similar issue and research + experience may apply here... My org bought a bunch of WD Blue SA510 SATA SSD, there is an OEM firmware issue where the drives brick randomly... We installed them in many laptops and some failed overnight, some failed 3 months later, some failed 3 years la

i am on 420000RL. the sandisk support web article says 52020100 fixes an issue with drive not being recognized, released in 2022, and 52046100, fixing the fatal read only state issue. released in 2023. WD dashboard cannot be installed as it's discontinued, and i've tried sandisk. it gets detected bu

The 2TB SA510 uses a different(better) controller and is a better drive than the lower capacity SA510 drives. The lower capacities uses a WD controller that was pretty bad. WD literally used the controller on just the WD Blue SSDs and then abandoned it...I wonder why... The 2TB version uses a Silico

If you had an NVME slot, you won't notice any difference with an SSD that fast, a lower end one will work just fine: https://www.pccomponentes.com/disco-duro-wd-green-sn3000-2tb-disco-ssd-5000mb-s-nvme-pcie-40-m2-gen4-qlc-3d-nand But since it doesn't look like your PCP has a NVME slot: https://www.a

For sata ssds, they are all basically the same. The only real difference you will come across is if it has dram (technically better) or not. The 870 has dram, I went with one with dram (WD Blue SA510). At max throughout with 16 cameras you're only looking at about 64 mb/s. Well under the max through
