Deck randomly freezes when downloading a big game

The poor Steam Deck is begging you...don't run that game.

Are there any hubs like this for the steam deck? I'm not a fan of the ones with a cable.

I doubt it because it would block your vent exhaust and power/vol buttons. And you also don’t want to risk damaging the USB-C port on steam deck - it’s soldered to the board and not easily replaced

Me, a vanilla deck enjoyer, reading r/steamdeck support requests

As someone who developes decky plugins, it's a garbage platform for stability. No documentation, API calls are randomly depreciated in a release with no warning, and the decky store is completely a shit show with no actual concern for compatibility for steam versions. Like the slightest capitalizati

Rumor has it, Switch 2 is getting a price hike this year, despite Nintendo recently dismissing the idea

I can guarantee Nintendo has got multiple manufacturing and supply contracts in place to secure parts. It's not like they haven't seen this coming. Valve discontinuing one model of Steam Deck is to be expected. It's not a huge seller (SD has always been a fairly niche piece of kit), and unlike Ninte

Steam deck JASAUX dock

What’s your setup? I’ve been doing this and I constantly get micro stuttering on the steam deck side. Game is running locked on my PC side but constant drops from 60 to 48fps and 55. I’m using Apollo on PC and moonlight on SD all wired through Ethernet. The moonlight info isn’t showing any network s

No audio out of nowhere

Happens to my SD every day. Sadly, still no solution from Valve. The only thing that you can do is restart your SD.

Handheld emulator for 10 y.o.

These days, handheld gaming systems can mean a lot of things and can get very specific. Can be everything from a Nintendo Switch, to a PC handheld like the Steam Deck, to the handhelds you’re seeing that are emulator focused which come with their own caveats. As a parent, my honest suggestion is see

Should I get an Atelier game on my steam deck or my switch 2?

I don't have a Switch 2 but I've got them on Switch and additionally started them on Steam Deck recently. I started with the Arland series (Rorona, Totori, Meruru (+ Lulua, but haven't played that yet) and at least for Rorona and Totori I would recommend the Switch version as long as you don't care
