Considering moving to TrueNAS
How is the performance of Truenas and docker containers? 100% Flawless. I switched from UGOS mid 2025 after 4 or 5 months of usage and after 2 consecutive ugos updates that "messed up" their docker integration that needed 3 reboots. "Mmmm do I really trust Ugreen enought to have my main server (DXP2

Shipping delays
I was just coming on here to share my experience. I got an email indicating that both my NAS plus UPS combo were being delivered today. UPS (the carrier) delivered the UPS (power supply backup) only. I chatted with someone at UGreen and the DXP2800 was on backorder. They got a new supply in yesterda

I feel obligated/compelled to highlight a few recent reddit posts here regarding major issues all of us are seeing with our Ugreen NAS'
It's funny you made this thread as I was about to make a post about how NFS is broken with the DXP2800. There is most definitely a problem with the current NFS implementation. Is anyone successfully using a Ugreen NAS as a NFS server with no issues?? Also, NFSv3 is the highest available NFS version

I'm confused about Ugreen and it's "advanced encryption"
I go to this page, read he sidebar bullet point labeled, "Best Performance in Class;"
Keep full control over your data with advanced encryption, ensuring your files and personal information are always protected.
Huh? Where and how do I enable this, because I have this same unit and almost 6 months

Which NAS for Photo library backup?
As the title says, I’m looking to get a 2 Bay NAS for photos. My current setup is Ente self-hosted for anywhere access to photo library. Proton Drive for documents. And a Nextcloud Self-hosted for storing RAW images and general document backup.
I wanna get rid of the Nextcloud and replace it with

First time NAS
Congratulations. I emailed ugreen after looking at dxp2800 and they replied that plex emby and jellyfin are supported but they didn't clearly said if Toshiba MG10 series drive is supported by it or not. On their compatibility list Toshiba enterprise drives are not listed. Cheaper dh2300 they said do

To former Synology User: any regrets after switching to Ugreen?
I just went through this myself... I've been a Synology user for 5 years now ish. Completely removed myself and my family from google photos, icloud, facebook, amazon photos lol... just cleaned it all off and turned off all the subscriptions. Moved to Synology and then when the DS925+ came out I mov

System Firmware - 1.11.0.0053 (2025-12-01)
Probably gonna get downvoted but while I LOVE my DXP2800 I think for my purposes I should have just gotten Synology with their DSM. All those problems where hashed out early and I think I went with Ugreen too early.

Experiences with UGOS Update: 1.9.0.0075
...I strongly encourage you to restart the machine again after the update (and/or to update Docker before Ugos). I had numerous problems with my docker services (Home Assistant : interface freezing every few minutes + loss of ALL entities every few minutes for 5-10 seconds, Heimdall : 15 seconds to dis

Dual Ethernet Ports on the DXP4800 Plus
I guess I don’t understand the indeed use case or advantage for this setup? I don’t know to what extent UgreenOS supports bridging as I run TrueNAS but in theory it should work? Seems like you would have to manually implement it actually, and it would likely get borked in an update. 1. Enable SSH on
