The demo website?
I had a similar issue with a ugreen dxp2800. Ended up in reducing the amount of concurrent jobs in immich. And pausing some jobs like facial recognition and ocr. Main issue was that the CPU become to hot. As it was nearing 100% the whole time. After that it loads fine also initial loads.

Does zimaboard 2 worth at the current price compared to other N100/N150
This is why I went with the Zimaboard 2 vs the Ugreen dxp2800. 16gb vs 8gb and slightly faster N150. I only need 1 NVME so I bought the adapter for that, and can always expand later on.

DIY or Buy
You can often build a similar or better performance system that supports a larger number of drives for the same cost as a pre-built. Ie for the cost ofa UGreen DXP2800 2 bay N100 NAS @ $389usd you can build a 6 Bay N150 system with twice the ram and a 128GB NVMe for the OS for $385usd, you still nee

To former Synology User: any regrets after switching to Ugreen?
I just went through this myself... I've been a Synology user for 5 years now ish. Completely removed myself and my family from google photos, icloud, facebook, amazon photos lol... just cleaned it all off and turned off all the subscriptions. Moved to Synology and then when the DS925+ came out I mov

Ugreen 4800 Plus another ram question
It’s a SODIMM type RAM, yes. I got the Crucial @4800 for my DXP2800, as it was listed as compatible on Ugreen’s web page, but it turned out that it’s not, and it was causing constant system reboots. People have had good success with the Corsair Vengeance, though.

Cheap setup to learn TrueNAS basics before major investment
The problem with using cheap as your only requirement is that chances are if you decide to really use it, it wont meet your actual storage and usage needs. Are you using this as file storage, to host apps/vm’s/services, for media/large file storage, etc? What sort of networking do you need…1Gbps, 2.

DXP2800 SSD Cache, Worth It?
From my experience totally, absolutely NOT! I also have a DXP2800 with 2-8TB BarraCuda Seagate drives. The problems started when I decided to install a Samsung 980 Pro SSD 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive to use as a cache drive. Eventually I started receiving over temp beeps and log msgs, so I tried improvi

UGREEN NASync DH2300
The DH2300 is not indicated for Docker. It's really low on specs, if possible, buy a DXP2800. The Docker app is not avaliable anymore in Ugreen OS, they removed from DH2300. There's a workaround now, but who knows until when will be possible.

I'm worried to use the NVME SSD without a heatsink
Ah, it's different, and imo a bit weird on the 2800. https://www.igorslab.de/en/ugreen-nasync-dxp2800-nas-im-test/4/ The pad goes in first, remove the blue film, and then the ssd goes on top. The pads of the bigger nas models are different, and the ssds are accessible from outside, through a metal d

DXP6800 Pro - RAM is not upgradeable
Nope, no solution sadly. My 6800 now runs 2x8GB (the original stick plus one from kingston). It's only running TrueNAS, so while not optimal (TrueNAS likes RAM) it's good enough. I even bought a DXP2800 during the black Friday sales, and that also crashes with one of these memory modules. They do wo
