Ich baue mir nun ein NAS und einen MiniPC und verlasse iCloud Fotos

hast doch 5GB kostenlosen iCloud Speicher?

The DS225+ ($339) is good and would not be overkill, but I would highly recommend getting larger than 2TB drives you're considering. In fact, the price difference from 2TB to 4TB or even 6TB drives is quite small, so consider that if you want to have some space to grow. Other options to consider if

Raspberry pi 5 M.2 board for a home NAS

For $200 you could get a real NAS. I get it if you want to do it as a project or to learn how to set up your own NAS with extra capabilities. But I figured I'd point out that... The Ugreen NASync DH2300 is around $210, $188 if you buy it on their store. GMKtec's 4 slot NVME NAS is around $230 Beelin

I second this suggestion. Get not only one nas, but two. One you keep at your place a and second one that you keep at a location offsite (family member, friends house, etc.). This give you s FULL control and ownership of your data, is available over the internet should you desire, so it can operate

First DIY NAS - I am going insane

Save yourself the hassle and confusion trying to put something together. It's a hit or miss in normal times, and these days hardware costs are going through the roof, not to mention that picking whichever NAS software you end up with will have its own steep learning curve. Therefore, I think you mig

MinisCloud OS? N5 NAS

I have tried and own just about every single name brand NAS. QNAP and Synology are top notch but over the past year I am avoiding Synology since they are trying to sell you their own hardware and my $1500 12Bay constantly shows me warning messages on my hard drives since they are not Synology. They

Nas 2026

Halloween Giveaway: Win $1,500 in Cash & Prizes!🎃

https://imgur.com/a/btla0iE This photo was taken a couple of years ago, after I tried pumpkin carving for the first time. Pictures like this are currently backed up on OneDrive, but as I work to reduce my reliance on Big Tech, the UGREEN DH2300 NAS feels like a lifesaver for securely storing all my

DXP2800 do-it-all, or DH2300 for storage + N100 mini PC for services?

The DXP2800 has an N100, and its a little cheaper than the NH2300 plus an N100. The DH2300 is a much slower linux appliance ARM SoC with 4 × Cortex-A72 + 4 × Cortex-A53, this is just fine for storage but its not going to be enough power to push anything high speed over the network. However, I think
