So anyone seeing similar things from a UGREEN NAS without BitTorrent software installed or running on it?

I know this isn't the answer you want, but when the software running on a device is acting questionable, replace it. I've been running TrueNAS on my UGREEN NAS for almost a year. Zero issues.

Kokią išorinę asmeninių duomenų saugyklą rekomenduotumėt?

Black friday paskutini pirkau UGREEN NAS, geras daiktas, jokiui nusiskundimu. Jei tikrai svarbus failai, naudok 3-2-1 taisykle. "3 total copies of your data, on 2 different media types, with 1 copy stored off-site"

Nvme cache: what’s the benefit?

Great question about NVMe cache! Let’s break down your points and clarify what’s true based on how NVMe caching works in UGREEN NASync systems. Faster Media/File Loading: True! NVMe cache (using M.2 NVMe SSDs) stores frequently accessed data, like media files or photos, on super-fast SSDs instead of

Good enough small profile hardware for pbs

The mini PC only has a single SSD slot plus an NVMe for the boot drive so ZFS or RAID wasn't really an option on it. I just wanted a PBS with a small footprint to get started and it was enough for that. Once I had it running, I figured I should have a second copy on a separate device. I already had

Yeah, it's ARM, but hear me out—I was skeptical too until I deployed like a dozen Docker containers on it. Thing runs surprisingly stable. Way better than t

NAS Recommendations for Home Use

UGREEN DH4300 Plus. I don’t recommend QNAP. Their product is reliable. But I refuse to buy another as they discontinued support on my previous one.

Complete novice needing help with setting up a server for home videos and photos

You sound like me about 2 months ago. I had the same goals and ended up buying a NAS, in my case a Ugreen DH4300 plus. It was easy to set up and my whole family now uses it to backup their fotos and videos. It's definitely not the cheapest solution but it works really well. However, be warned: I now
