Did I make a mistake getting a UNAS 4 instead of a different NAS?
I have a Synology and a UNAS device in the same place and the Synology keeps drives significantly cooler. It’s on the order of 15-20C different. Ubiquiti just needs to raise those fan RPMs and let the device be a bit more proactive with cooling.

But in my year of using Ubiquiti it's been a common thread in all of their devices, they seem to be designed to run a warmer than other products.
