Lead content in Turin Legato V2 (aka Gemilai, CRM3007L)
Omg that’s horrible!! I wonder if that’s the case in other Turin legato machines.

Bambino Vs Turin Legato V2 vs ??? [500]
Someone here recently posted an alarming level lead content coming out of their Turin Legato, so I’d say stick with the Bambino, or get the Plus for yourself…

When someone says they have a breville bambino , usually the comments are , it’s a good beginner setup.
Honestly, it IS a great beginner setup. It will give you the opportunity to make sure you want to make espresso a hobby before you shell out lots of money. Espresso machines are expensive, like my Synchronica was 3600 bucks, and my Muvna was 1600 when I got it on sale...but this is a hobby for me, s

Turin Legato v2 vs Bambino Plus [Budget $550]
Bambino. (or GCP is a better choice) I loved my Turin Legato V2...until I tested it for lead contamination... The newest version (2026) of the GCP uses lead free brass. The Legato does not. =(

Looking to upgrade my espresso machine! [1000]
Honestly there is no massive upgrade for the GCP under $1000, it's a very capable machine. Are you interested in a lever? That would at least give you a different experience. Are you a tinkerer? You could mod your GCP and turn it into a $3k+ flow profiling beast. Other than that, you're probably tal

Water Flow Adjustment Mod Ideas [Turin Legato V2]
yes us again! Round three on this: A threaded insert of proper bore but it's got to be a thin diameter to fit in the housing hole the screw occupies. or fuel line hose pushed over the screw --my take on this is it will be ugly as thin wire would be wrapped around the screw threads a bit to insure th

Beans, Grinder, Water, and Puck prep are all VASTLY more important than your espresso machine when it comes to what your coffee is going to taste like. The difference will come when you're doing back to back shots...a better machine will have better thermal stability, when you want to dial in things

Turin Legato/Miicoffee Apex V2 pre-infusion discussion
What ever came of this? All v2 machines that I've seen in the wild (friends, youtubers) show a wet P2 occcuring--water still flows from the lines and group head (at 2-3 bars of pressure ) for the P2 time set. This is how machines (whether Turin Legato V2, Micoffee Apex V2, Gemilai 3007 Z) are shippi

After pre-infusion should water still flow?[turin legato v2]
It's not leaking, all these V2 (Turin Legato V2 and Micoffee Apex V2) have this running water during the pause until the end of the pause. yes it likely reduces a bit as the pressure is building but it's binary--it should go off when preinfusion is done, period.

After pre-infusion should water still flow?[turin legato v2]
You're 100% right. I'm a new Turin Legato v2 owner and this is the first thing I played with and noticed. Water should stop after preinfusion and doesn't. It should automate just like the automatic function shuts off, just like manual responds to a button touch to stop manual . did you figure anythi
