Meshing together Deco units and Archer router

You can't mesh them together, as they're not compatible. Even if you give the WiFi networks the same name, these will still be two different WiFi networks, and you won't be able to seamlessly roam between them. There is no actual reason to keep your BE550 as one of the Decos can be your main router.

Why high download and upload ping on BSNL fiber 300 Mbps plan

https://www.tpstech.in/products/tp-link-archer-be550-be9300-tri-band-easymesh-wi-fi-7-router?srsltid=AfmBOoqWjHRdoguHoxta7PWofm_ThC4rI0_qX1pLpYTAyzInyNmL4c4E Bought it from here, though I will recommend to wait as 6 GHz is banned in India, so you will not be able to fully utilize the benefits of Wifi-

Wi-Fi 7 MLO behavior: Pixel vs S24 Ultra on Archer BE550

I'm just gonna throw out there that true MLO is not supported at all with current vendors. Some people have called it "load balancing" but that's not even correct either; it's more like three people waiting for their turn standing side-by-side to throw a ball at the same target. It's arguably even w

Trouble with new BE550

Yup, similar issue with my BE550. Smart Connect isn't as smart as it should be! :D When I previously had Smart Connect enabled, my Pixel 9 when at long distance, would not drop down from 6GHz or 5Ghz to 2.4GHz automatically. Tether app would indicate that my Pixel 9 had a weak signal on 6Ghz or 5GHz

BE550 USB speed

for me i get 81MB up and 122MB down from that drive over ftp to the be550 usb 3 port one transfer at a time. in my pc the external hdd goes at 122MB max. so for some reason this router maxes out SMB or samba windows file transfers at around 6MB which is well below the max you would see from usb 2 wh

WiFi advice

I’m also with EE swapped out the supplied router and extender with 2 TP-Link Archer BE550 around £180 each fixed my issue with the internet speeds dropping drastically towards the longer distances in the house. My only issue with the system is the App is horrendously unreliable and looking to go Ama

AYN Odin 2 Portal's wifi getting its a$$ handed to itself.

This has been my same experience with the current Portal firmware on a TPLink router (Archer BE550). Had to disable wifi 7 and set up a super basic connection just for the portal. Not a router manufacturer issue from what I can tell.

Switching to Omada from two Archer BE550’s

Ok, great. I’m a bit skeptical based on the range I’m currently getting with the BE550. I had to add an extender in my second, smaller bedroom just to get reliable coverage in the garage directly below it. The router in the master bedroom closet wasn’t enough for that.Similarly, the router in the li

Archer BE9300

First things first, the ~$200 TP-Link BE9300 (aka BE550) released in ~2024 is by no means a state of the art router.. Now the $900 Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI with 4x4, AI, etc. that’s more so a worthy contender. Please educate yourself on the true “usefulness” of MLO: https://www.rtings.com/route

2.4G bandwidth connection not working correctly

bro that's a weird one. two different routers doing the same thing? yeah that points to something else going on the firmware thing - there's actually a known issue with the BE550 Pro and recent firmware updates killing 2.4ghz stability . people are reporting exactly what you're seeing - 2.4ghz drops
