Meshing together Deco units and Archer router
You can't mesh them together, as they're not compatible. Even if you give the WiFi networks the same name, these will still be two different WiFi networks, and you won't be able to seamlessly roam between them. There is no actual reason to keep your BE550 as one of the Decos can be your main router.

Is this a good deal or a doo doo deal?
Not a recommendation. I just pointed out why the BE550 is cheap and an example of why some people spend more.

Why high download and upload ping on BSNL fiber 300 Mbps plan

BE550 USB speed
for me i get 81MB up and 122MB down from that drive over ftp to the be550 usb 3 port one transfer at a time. in my pc the external hdd goes at 122MB max. so for some reason this router maxes out SMB or samba windows file transfers at around 6MB which is well below the max you would see from usb 2 wh

Wi-Fi 7 MLO behavior: Pixel vs S24 Ultra on Archer BE550
I'm just gonna throw out there that true MLO is not supported at all with current vendors. Some people have called it "load balancing" but that's not even correct either; it's more like three people waiting for their turn standing side-by-side to throw a ball at the same target. It's arguably even w

Trouble with new BE550
Yup, similar issue with my BE550. Smart Connect isn't as smart as it should be! :D When I previously had Smart Connect enabled, my Pixel 9 when at long distance, would not drop down from 6GHz or 5Ghz to 2.4GHz automatically. Tether app would indicate that my Pixel 9 had a weak signal on 6Ghz or 5GHz

ASUS RT-BE92U 1 Year On
Not a long term review, but I replaced a TP BE550 with the RT-BE92U two weeks ago. I installed Merlin right away because I had a good experience with it on AX86U. I had issues with the WAN port auto-negotiated the port speed every hour which led to frequent drops (Telus Fiber ONT 10G port > BE92U 2.

Reyee/Ruijie router - does anyone know how to set it up for PIA?
Thank you. I have several TP-Link travel routers that are great, so I was giddy to try the Archer BE550.I'm ending up with half the speed of the Rayee E5, and it disconnects me too often.

Should I use the TP-Link BE550 or Unifi Express 7 as my primary router?
honestly go with the UniFi Express 7. brick walls kill consumer routers, but unifi handles interference better and the express 7 has enough cpu for 20+ devices with gaming traffic. tplink be550 is fine for simpler setups but unifi's qos and device management are way better when your mom's netflix wa
