HiBrew G4B; is this good for moka?
Gamit ko Timemore C2s(C2 but all metal variation) sa Moka pots ko, goods naman siya, I use it around 11-16 clicks for Moka. 1-2/3 years na to sakin. Got it sa shopee for around 2k'ish sa Timemoreph(wala na silang Mall badge now)

Switching to v60 from French Press
The C2S is quite capable. You can see my brews. I grind Espresso fine for my Moka Pot method and it does take a long time and high effort to grind at 6-7 clicks. Normally for Moka grind 9-12 clicks is good. For Nanopresso I grind at 9-11 clicks. Pourover range is quite long 15-24 clicks. I am quite

Want to switch from instant coffee to fresh coffee. Need affordable beginner setup suggestions
V60 hands down, and espresso machines for darker roasts, I’d put moka pot as third. Grinder is bare minimum Grinder makes an objectively better cup, it’s not even close to pre-ground. If you have already been splurging on expensive instant coffees, and like strong black cups, a grinder (c2s timemore

Metal filter
You will need to grind a little coarser for a metal filter than a paper filter. Best way is to experiment. I have a Timemore Chestnut C2S and I am on 18 clicks from the finest setting for metal filter. I do not enjoy the coffee if I use a paper filter; I like the flavor of the oils.

Should I get a grinder?
Definitely get a decent grinder ! Timemore c2s or 1zpresso q air is perfect for starting out for French press also other brewing methods like aeropress, v60 .

Choosing Budget Hand Grinders
Well, after all the research, I think I should just save up 2k more and get a timemore c2s. I'm trying to get into some latte art, but also like drinking black, so I guess a quality grinder for both french press and moka pot would be good.

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread
Second opinion: sure the Timemore C2S is a good choice in the $90 and under category, though at that price point the field opens up quickly and dramatically with every extra dollar you're willing to spend. I do think it's an awkward fit for pour-over, including the Clever dripper. The grind quality

Best manual grinder for my price range?
I have the Chestnut C2S and it is more than adequate for aeropress for me. Im saving up for the K-Ultra as I’m wanting to get into espresso as well. If not for my espresso needs, I’d just stick with the Timemore.

Coffee grinder suggestions - under 10K
I see ZeroHero RUI Mini all the time in suggestions. Others are slightly over 10k. Timemore Nutti and Timemore Whirly 01S. The ones you keep getting in suggestions are ceramic burr grinders, not good. In 10k actually you'll get a great steel burr manual grinder that will have good consistency and lo

This one is my first coffee in premium segment! don't know how to brew
Try getting a good grinder, and a moka pot if you really want a kick of an espresso. I use timemore c2s with budan moka pot everyday. I use it for both hot and cold coffee.
