Spending 1k on scale is not justifiable, a 250₹ scale will work fine. You don't need a grinder right now, use pre ground coffee from Mokka Farma, Blue Tokai sample pack for now. If you can save money, get a Timemore C2s, or Aashonee is also fine.

Yep these ceramic burr grinders are really that bad. If you can put a bit more you can get a good enoufh steel burr grinder from aashonee. Its 2500 on amazon. Its a close clone of the timemore c2s

thank you for the review, and I agree that the C2 was a nice grinder at its time but, now in 2026, it is much outdated, and can not be recommended anymore - mainly due to plastic in its body, which ages and tends to crack, after years of daily usage for a very similar money, Timemore has already rel

Whats your budget?? If it's 6k go for timemore c2s or c3s. If it's more go for izpresso or kingrindek6 But if you are a beginner and just starting. Timemore itself will be a really good option. The c2s is only 4800 rupees and it'll be a really good starting point for you

Save money with a timemore c2s if you're brewing fp only, or just get a Kingrinder K6 if you're planning to get an espresso setup in future.

I started with the Timemore C2s and honestly really liked it. My two complaints were the internal adjustment and non-folding crank handle, but those were nitpicky and the handle I didn’t really notice it until I upgraded to the 1Zpresso J-Ultra. But I ONLY upgraded due to wanting a grinder capable o

Okay, then you can start with a moka pot, and some pre ground beans for starting, then you should get a grinder once you get the habit of moka pot, for moka pot Bialetti is the best option or if you wanna go a bit budget friendly then Budan stainless steel one is also pretty good, and for grinder st

A Bialetti moka pot and a Timemore C2S. Total cost would be around 9k. Good enough for a great cup of coffee, provided you use good beans.

You can go for the Benki Manual Grinder. I bought it a few days back. I also have the Timemore C2S. In terms of producing fines, both create equal amounts. I tested both with a sifter. If you can manage a few thousand more, I would absolutely recommend the C2S or C3S. The Benki will also be good to

C2s is more than enough. People in this group also like ashonee. Best would be to wait & just follow this sub. Every now & then people sell their grinders at very good deals. Even I got my timemore like that & I am above 30. So it's expensive for most people trying to get into this hobby. As you are
