Ninja vs Moccamaster
I like the Moccamaster's simplicity and commitment to repairability. And I like that the KBT (and KBTS, which is the model I have) uses a thermal carafe instead of a burner. I bought it to replace a crappy super cheap drip machine. Yes, the coffee is better, even the same basic canister of pre-groun

Convince me on the OXO 8 cup coffee maker - Can't make up my mind
Have you looked At Moccamaster? Their KBTS can brew a full pot (32oz) or half a pot (16oz). They’re expensive but I got my KBTS as a refurb direct from the company for $229.

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread
Convince me not to buy a Moccamaster. Looking at buying a Moccamaster KBTS, and everyone on the internet says it's the greatest machine ever built. To me, it seems like it has some design flaws and feels expensive for what it is. Anyone else? Are these things overhyped?

What's the best coffee maker should I get for my kitchen?
Another vote for Moccamaster. I just bought the KBTS. It's $$$, but I like that it's repairable. If I didn't want to spend that money, I'd buy whatever cheap drip machine has a thermal carafe. (My husband wakes up an hour before me, so I appreciate the ability to keep the coffee hot.) I'm a fan of t
