HomeKit POE Camera?
Yeah, I have a wyze v3 mounted to my 3D printer and the reliability on that is not great. I’m obviously running a full Unifi stack incl the NVR so the choice for me was obvious. I have no experience with Reolink but everything I’ve seen/heard is positive. The Tapo cameras I have are all mains powere

Battery life for Tapo D205 battery doorbell?
I bought two D205 doorbells for my front and back entrances. One of them drains about 14% per day. I have to block out time every morning to rotate and recharge them before the neighbors-from-hell wake up. They're furious that I installed several Tapo cameras so they would notice if one was out of p

"Ok google, lets chat"
I tried having a camera in the house and I just don’t trust it yet. I had my Tapo camera on a fixed area and last night it turned around by itself. Had to disconnect lol

My honest review about Tapo camera
The slider in Tapo is awful to check the video details and easily to skip to the next video which is unwanted. However on Reolink is very easy and fast.OK, let me know the name of the Tapo camera you have and check the bitrate.

Is this a good deal for TC85
The biggest thing to know about Battery-Powered cameras is that even with a Solar Panel to charge, they are not ideal for high-traffic areas. The battery drain in high-traffic areas is generally too much for the camera to keep up with, even with a solar panel. This isn't just for TP-Link/Tapo camera

What capabilities do you wish your home security device or system had that it doesn’t have today, or could be improved?
I wish cameras had more flexibility of placement. Sometimes I would like to have a camera in a location where I don't have anything to hang it on at the optimal height and angle. Tapo cameras miss a lot when set up lower. Watching wildlife is a secondary purpose for our security cameras. I wish ther

Let Us Know What You Think About Tapo’s Role in Your Home's Security
sorry to be that guy, but this is an international outreach post. Tapo's role in my home's security is about to be nil because the company is about to fail to comply with my country's (India) new policies. I am a user of 3 Tapo cameras, an H200 and a couple of smart sensors. If the cameras are no lo

Anyone regret investing in the tapo ecosystem?
Yeah, I would assume this is a Wifi / internet issue as I changed out my wifi to a mesh system and the cameras load instantly where before if I would move the router further away the cameras would have issues or go offline. I do agree on the audio, I have 3 different Tapo cameras and know someone el
