I used Garmin for 8 yrs, most of them re Instinct. My last device was Crossover Amoled. The physical hand broke so I sold it. I just bought Suunto Vertical 2 and here are my thougts. Vertical 2 screen is big and easy to read. The buid quality is superb. There are much less watch faces on Suunto and

Please don't make it a smartwatch like some competitors, keep it a product for outdoor enthusiasts. I am with Suunto for reliability and simplicity in the mountains. Improve wrist HR, articulate the bezel on the vertical like the race, keep the Vertical 2 made in Finland.

My sportwatch evolution has been quite a ride: Apple Watch > Fenix 7 > Tactix 7 > Vertix 2 > Fenix 7X Pro > Fenix 8 > Vertix 2S > Race 2 > Vertical 2. In my experience, Garmin has become increasingly overpriced. Their lineup is cluttered with lifestyle features I rarely touch, and even the OS on the

I just replaced my fenix 7x with a vertical 2 and must say so far it's fine. I really miss Garmin Pay but on the other hand I wanted to quit paying with an American payment provider anyway. Sleep tracking is okay for me, somewhat different then Garmin but neither are perfectly accurate anyway. I use

I came from a Fenix 8 and switched to a Suunto Vertical 2, and I loved the aesthetics, the watch faces, the interface, but as others have mentioned, it didn't detect how many times I woke up during the night, I couldn't see my oxygen levels at night, and some other metrics were missing. Now that I

I’ve been a die-hard Garmin user for the last 6–7 years, moving through the Forerunner series and most recently the Enduro 2. Yesterday, I officially made the jump and sold my Enduro 3. I’m still getting used to the Suunto Vertical 2, but I don’t regret the switch for a second. The UI is incredibly

I just got mine as well...weird...I ordered it from Suunto.com and said it would ship on March 17...it delivered 48 hours later on March 12 without so much as a notification (California). Anyway...I completely agree with OP about the band...I've also had all the others and this one is just next leve

I ditched my fenix for a vertical 2 and really only miss Garmin pay. The bells and whistles are 99% stuff I don't need, plus Garmin is making you subscribe to multiple subscriptions now if you want all the features. The fact that a new Garmin fenix Sapphire would set me back over €1000 also helped i

The Suunto interface , on the watch, is very easy to use , very fast, more intuitive ...better UX in general. The GPS accuracy is top notch even on my Vertical solar, I expect it to be at least as good on the vertical 2. On the vertical 2 you have the latest sensor Suunto can offer right now and fro
