If you want a smart watch buy a garmin, if you want a sport watch consider suunto ;) Garmin watches are more customizable, provide more data, but I don’t think they are better. I have the Vertical 2 and the Coros Nomad. Both of them are great watches for sports tracking. If you are not going to wear it everyday, just for sports activities I would go for the Coros because it's cheaper and offers the same or maybe slightly more metrics and customisation.
