I use race 2 since 4 months. I had 3 restarts during 2 long runs in training and worse, one during my race. During the training it's unfortunate but I can live with it. During my race, I'm only missing 500 meters of 23km because I had the chance to check my watch relatively soon after the bug. I was

Are you sure about Garmin discontinuing the support for Epix 2? In my understanding they do not offer the new features for ”F7 line-up” buy do bring any essential security updates and bug fixes. Anyhow, I do understand your frustration towards Garmin as I’ve spied the conversations and updates about

What I'd like to happen - A new marketing department that understands how to sell based on the products strengths, and realises that they also have a line of other products that they need to get out to reviewers such as headphones and hrm bands. A new support system that isn't confusing and let's yo

Garmin probably has more features and I've used Garmin watches for ages for the fear of missing out but not being a pro athlete suunto covers more then enough of the basics for me. I prefer the look of the race 2 / vertical 2 over the recent Garmin watches and especially dislike what Garmin has done

I have the race 2 and the pace pro and disagree. my race 2 feels choppy even after updating and the bezel scroll feels laggy compared to the pace pro. The pace pro is extremely smooth and easy to use and the experience has never failed me compared to the race2. I think the better comparison is the e

I’ve been using Garmin for most of the last 10 years. I tried Polar for a while, but moved to the new Suunto Race 2 because the HR sensor on the Polar V3 was terrible and the app was honestly a mess. I’m very happy with the Race 2 overall. It’s sapphire glass, so no scratches, has awesome battery li

Yep. I’ve written quite a few posts about my own experience with all of the data discrepancies. It’s very disappointing for this launch. I returned mine as have many other people. I wanted to love the Race 2 but it was a let down so I returned it. Terrific build quality but the software and data int

Sunnto has historically claimed that sleep tracking takes a bit to become more reliable because it needs to establish various baselines and averages. It's also claimed by Suunto that it takes into account your typical sleep schedule and sleep patterns. Based on my time with both the Race for 2 years

I have never used garmin before, but a friend of mine is looking to switch to suunto from garmin. He's sick of the many paywalls and since you get a boatload of data with the suunto app without having to commit to a subscription, he's really looking forward to the new system. I myself am very happy

Yup it’s all well and good releasing nice looking watches but when the app and bugs are sub par what’s the point? These days a fitness watch is only as good as the software and app that supports the watch. I cannot use a watch where the data between the app and the watch is blatantly different. Fix
