Are you sure about Garmin discontinuing the support for Epix 2? In my understanding they do not offer the new features for ”F7 line-up” buy do bring any essential security updates and bug fixes. Anyhow, I do understand your frustration towards Garmin as I’ve spied the conversations and updates about

It's smaller and more compact, yet at the same time has a slightly bigger screen. It's design language is closer to that of the Race S, and many are finding the case design and lug set up to be more comfortable. Newer and better sensor suite if you care about that kind of thing too. But right now it

What I'd like to happen - A new marketing department that understands how to sell based on the products strengths, and realises that they also have a line of other products that they need to get out to reviewers such as headphones and hrm bands. A new support system that isn't confusing and let's yo

For me, no notable problems for a month with my Race 2, I'm even super happy with it. It is beautiful, simple and effective, it records what you need when you need it (hiking, running, mountain biking) I think it takes a little time to get to know its owner, but after two weeks already, the sleep tr

Garmin probably has more features and I've used Garmin watches for ages for the fear of missing out but not being a pro athlete suunto covers more then enough of the basics for me. I prefer the look of the race 2 / vertical 2 over the recent Garmin watches and especially dislike what Garmin has done

I'm looking to upgrade from my Garmin Fenix 6S so I'm trying out all the major watches that I could get for under $500. From left to right: Epix Pro 51mm, Suunto Race 2, Coros Nomad. I've used the Epix Pro for around 3 weeks and have to return it soon if I don't decide to keep it. It's an excellent

You pay a lot more for the Garmin (about 50% extra where I live). I have used Garmins for quite some time - and it was ok. But now they are just too expensive. I have used Coros and they are great for running but I don’t know how they are for other activities. Now I just switched to Suunto (Race 2)

I'm in the same boat. I've been a Garmin user for over ten years, but lately I'm alienated because of their prices combined with lack of effort on their part. Forerunner 970 is one of the laziest products in my recent memory. Given that 970 is not an option for me mainly due to its high price and sh

I posted something very similar to your dilemma. I’ve been in the Garmin universe for many years and looked at getting a discounted 970. After much contemplation and testing the Race 2 for a week, I’ve decided to stick with Suunto. While it has some noticeable flaws (some data discrepancies between

Influencers are terrible at showing the ecosystem, so it's a great question. I typed this up to someone's similar question in r/Coros, so I'll re-post here. Suunto pros: Suunto industrial design, UI design, screen quality, and build quality is ridiculously good. Native support for pace, power, and H
