What everyday life hack will you drop here for other Millennials?

If you use a computer often, buy a decent ergonomic office chair with LUMBAR support. Herman Miller, or Steelcase, or Haworth. Buy second hand if the cost makes your eyes water, but do it! Easy recommendations: If you're small, get a steelcase amia, if you're medium or big, get a steelcase leap v2.

Where can I buy a petite office chair in Halifax? I’m 5’0.

Following… I’m also 5’0 and very often do 14+ hour production days sitting and still can’t find a chair that offers back support AND feet on ground 😔💔I did try the steelcase amia recently, it wasn’t bad! But on the pricier side of things… they do pop up on marketplace/secondhand though AND there’s o

Does anyone else feel like their office chair is slowly killing them?

There’s lots of good advice here already, but a good chair has to be part of the solution. I’m curious what chair you tried that didn’t help. There’s a lot of junk out there sold as premium that’s really not. I don’t sit at a desk all day, but I switched to a Steelcase Amia during Covid and it’s one

Really digging my setup lately

No it is not, or at least I didn’t like it. I’m returning mine and getting a refurbished steelcase amia. If you sit in it for 8+ hours I’d wager it will do the same thing to your back as it did to mine; break it.

The Best Desk Chair

Not sure what your budget is, but I have a Steelcase Amia chair. On the pricey side, because it's a proper ergonomic chair built for heavy use (i.e. full time office work). If you plan to use the chair a lot, then the investment can be worth it instead of buying a new $300 chair every year or two be

what’s the single best thing you’ve added to your setup?

Probably my Steelcase Amia chair i got used for $150 (including a new piston from Amazon). Really, needed a good chair since I have a bad back that resulted from a car accident many many years ago. I now wheel my deskchair into my living room to watch tv because nothing else helps me stay in a half

Desk Chair

I have chronic lower back pain and for me, something with adjustable lumbar support and adjustable armrests was critical. My spine likes to collapse on itself if I sit too upright, so something that allows me to adjust how far back the chair reclines and also how much pressure is needed to make the
