This sub is way too high end
The unfortunate reality is that you really are better off buying second-hand/used compared to the offerings under a few hundred dollars. These brands are great, and objectively so. Does this mean you’ll like their chairs? No (but likely yes!). Nobody is asking you to spend thousands. The used market

Steelcase amia validity + opinions
That’s a genuine amia, looks brand new too. While Steelcase is known for their Leap, the Amia is pretty highly rated and is pretty adjustable and comfy.

Desk chair recs for petite women
I am 5'0 as well and use a Steelcase Amia. I bought it specifically because it lets me sit cross-legged on it. (As an aside, I found out that I sit cross legged because I have never had a desk that sat low enough for me to put my chair close enough to the ground that I can have my feet flat on the f

desk chair recs for petite women? (specifically for criss-cross sitters!)
I'm 5' 0” and am also a criss cross sitter. I have a SteelCase Amia and it's the best thing I've ever owned. The arms articulate enough that I can sit normally just as comfortably as I can shrimp in it. Super flexible and the seat cushion being nearly flat means no pinch points on my legs when sitti

Tried Every “Top” Ergonomic Chair For My Awkward 6’5” Frame
If you get the chance, definitely try out the Steelcase Amia. I’m 6'3" and about 102 kg, and it’s been fantastic for me. I spend 12+ hours a day in it between work and leisure, and I never end up sore. The armrests are basically the same as the Leap, so you’ll get a similar feel there. I added a bit

Buying Advice: Too much information
The solution is to buy a used Steelcase Amia locally in the $100-200 range, and, in the fairly rare case that you decide you hate it, resell it again for the same $100-200. You'll basically lose no money. They are cheap, plentiful, and there's basically always a market for them at around the same pr

WFH folks, is a $1,000 chair really worth it?
I also used this site for a B-grade chair. It came with a gash on the underside of the arm that wasn’t mentioned or photographed, but it didn’t impact me at all. Love the chair I got, steelcase amia.

I hate you guys! /s
The Steelcase Leap V2 is the greatest chair I’ve ever owned. Welcome to comfort bliss. My wife uses an Amia but I prefer the backrest locking positions. Either way, Steelcase for the win.

Scared of buying used office chairs, how to thoroughly clean the?
I used a wet/dry shop vacuum, scrub brush, rag, dawn soap, water, hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and upholstery cleaner. Spray the upholstery down so that it is moist, but not wet. Mix the dawn soap and hydrogen peroxide in the water: one gallon of water, one bottle of hydrogen peroxide and a 1/4 c
