Well you're certainly never going to beat the upgradeability of a Voron. But in most other ways... It sounds like you want to go with the SV08. The only official mini voron is the 0.2. (and technically the 0.1 I guess) idk much about "engineering materials", but no voron uses a chamber heater. I've had the SV08 since it launched and the comments you listed are correct. Only other things I'm going to add are an R3Men or Voron bed if desired and Demon Klipper Essential macros to make things easy

I also recently bought a SV08 Max, but I'm not worried. Don't think the teased model will be as large. Also, I think it is likely that someone will figure out a way to upgrade our SV08 Max printers with INDX!

I think buy Sovol if you want to tinker, but you're not ready to build a whole printer yourself.
