Okay, what is ACTUALLY the best camera (rant/discussion)??

You are asking about the best camera, but have a budget of entry level camera... For that price Z50II or sony a6500, a6600 or a6700 I'd say that sony might be better way to go because of IBIS. If he has intention to go for Nikon Z series cameras in the future as well, then Z50II is great choise! I t

Which APS-C weather-sealed camera + lens with IBIS and a tilting screen are you buying? (Fuji XT-5 vs Sony a6600)

Between the two: XT5 However the Sony is a bit jank as you have picked an expensive Full frame G 24mm lens just for weather sealing to pair with an older APSC A6600 body. Another choice would be A7CII with G 40mm if you stretch the budget or find a good deal on grey or second hand.

Best mirrorless camera for nature photography / backpacking?

I think an APS-C or OM Systems micro 4/3 option could be good. The lens systems are cheaper and lighter weight than full-frame equivalents, but the image quality can easily outperform smartphones, making them good for beginners. All of the cameras I am going to suggest are weather-sealed, which filt

What would you guys get? A cheap camera with a good lens or a good camera with a cheap lens?

I was thinking of getting the same but a6400 is better as a overall package. It also has semi weather sealing, evf and a better build quality than the zve10. You can also get a6600 from online stores at the same price as a6400 but its officially discontinued by Sony. Just dont get the kit lens with

Is 1 body enough for corporate events?

While your Sony A7 III is a workhorse, bringing a second body is non-negotiable for paid events because if a shutter fails or a dial breaks, no amount of batteries or extra lenses can save the shoot. Carrying two bodies also allows you to have a wide and a tight lens ready at all times, ensuring you

First camera advice ?

Get one of the sony a6xxx cameras, in my oppinion you should get a 6100, thats the one I use mostly snd its more than adequate, a point snd shoot dosent really make much sense if you want to pursue photogrophy even as a hobby. U will be able to buy old lenses from keh or mpb, or ebay, u can do diffe

Family hike landscapes, minature (40k etc) macro budget suggestions?

I'm seeing a6100s used for a bit more than that (on eBay in the US but the listings are China based). Pay a lot of attention to the language, a Chinese market a6100 will only be in Chinese (and Japanese and Korean). The a6100 has some substantial advantages over the G100, the downside would be that

Official Question Thread! Ask /r/photography anything you want to know! May 01, 2026

X-T4 would be out because size wise it is only really slimmer front to back than what you have. Sony makes the most sense size wise but unless you find an A6600 for cheap you are not getting IBIS or even good weather resistance. The Olympus makes sense although technically you will get slightly wors

budget 20jt dapet kombinasi apa?

Sony A6400 + lensa Tamron 17-70 f2.8. All-rounder dah itu utk segala kebutuhan. Cuma ga WR, mesti cari a6600 atau yang seri fullframe macam Sony A7.

Sony a6600 from flipkart?

Highly suggest not to get expensive stuffs from flipkart. Also its officially discontinued from Sony so replacement would be an issue. I would suggest you to go to a offline camera store, try and get the a6600 from them, if you can’t a6400 is good enough.
