budget hiking camera
For around £200, I’d honestly recommend buying used rather than new you’ll get much better value. Look for older beginner models like a Sony A5000, Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II, or a Nikon D3200 / D5200 if you don’t mind a bigger DSLR. They’ll all take far better photos than a phone once you learn the

Good beginner mirrorless camera?
I would buy a sony alpha 5000 or 6000 series camera, you can get these cheap and they have many lenses and are still producing new ones. I have a a6500 and really like it and alos use some old analog canon fd lenses with an adapter. Also makes it easier if you want to upgrade in the future because y

Samsung NX300 camera for sale
I'm in the market for a budget mirrorless myself and I must say this camera isn't worth 50k. For one thing, Samsung NX cameras are long dead and it's next to impossible to find NX mount lenses. You seem to have the standard 18-55 kit lens, which isn't exactly great. Second of all, Sony A5000 is supe

Camera Suggestions
Your best bet is to get a Sony a5000 or an older DSLR (Canon 5D mark ii or 6D) with a lens. But they each have their issues. If you can combine your phone and camera budget to get a pixel that might be the best bet.

camera advice?
I'm no camera expert, but you're not getting responses so I'll add what I know. I'm also just a hobbyist and in 2014 and got a Black Friday deal on a cheap mirrorless camera (Sony a5000) with two interchangeable lenses for $450. The biggest lens is 210mm, which is about five inches long. Even though

Need help choosing the best camera for me!
Yes of course. I would say the Sony A5000 is a fine camera. Try and find one that’s selling with the kit lens. That’s good enough to start. Canon is a very good camera brand (they all are at this point) but they do not let as many manufacturers use their lens mounts (or license them, I can’t remembe

Nikon coolscan V
That's ..painfully expensive. It really isn't very hard to scan yourself using a simple digital camera / macro lens. Base cost probably $300 (if you don't have any camera yet) or $150 if you have a body, but no macro lens & no film holder. There are various kits with film holder, light panel & vario

Can anyone suggest lens for beginner?
This might go against all the other recommendations, but as a start fotography lens, I would go for one or two vintage lenses. For my Sony A5000 I got a 28mm F2.8 and a 50mm F1.8 for like 30€ each, both lenses are M42 Mount. There are also some well known beautiful vintage video lenses (like the Heli
