No, I just used a Sony ZV-E1, it takes really crisp low light videos. Why the video looks a little weird is the compression to make it a GIF that works well on Reddit.

Canon 1DX II video setup — still relevant in 2025 for €4200?
My main question would be why there's 2 lenses there that are essentially doing the same thing. I'd also not bother with a gimbal as a beginner too fwiw and why 2 tripods? The 1DXii was a great camera in its day but it's really starting to show its age now If you're a beginner i'd look at something

FX3 or R6V
...Also keep in mind that the FX3 has a 1:1 readout in 4k and the Canon is line skipped. Common misconception about the FX3 (and α7S III, ZV-E1, FX6 that use the same sensor). These cameras actually create their UHD 4K from a ~4.2K oversample, i.e. the full width of the sensor. The Canon oversamples fr

RE VIDEOGRAPHY
When shooting listing videos with my Sony ZV-E1 (Same sensor and processor as the FX3 or A7SIII) and either my Viltrox 16MM F1.8 for the majority of the shots or my Tamron 28-75 F2.8 for detail shots, I typically shoot in 4K60, so depending on the lighting conditions in each room, I'll typically sho

What's the new sought after cameras today?
Sony FX3 is kinda where the consumer high end went. Lumix with the S5IIx is the best value for money right now. The Sony FX30/ZVE1 and Lumix S9 make for great small form factor video machines. Most of today’s cameras make a great image but are limited by how long you need them to run, cameras used t

How much do you pay your photographer for the listing photos?
I generally use a Sony zv-e1 with a 12-24mm lens but also have a canon 90d with a 10-18mm lens I used for years. I use the Sony because of its superior video. I rig it on a DJI rs4 and also use a DJI mavic 3 classic drone. The Sony isn’t the best photo camera but certainly does well enough for my ne

Will the fx3 drop in price?
From watching price development of higher end Sony camera gear over time it seems that second hand prices only ever move when Sony themselves releases a successor. Despite opinionated people on the internet constantly talking about how such and such other brand new release will "pressure" or even "k

Will I regret buying the FX30 instead of the FX3?
Not in my experience. I could do a whole day of 3-7 minute clips and not even get a warning. It’s the real long extended shots like trying to shoot an hour long talk that overheats the thing, and it seemed to happen faster using the AI auto-framing (which is absolutely awesome by the way). Like the

Sony ZV-E1 or FX3 is the video quality actually the same?
yeah a lot of people hate on the ZV because it offers so much compared to the high price of entry for an FX3. Its more than enough for most people starting out. If Im being real though, the overheating is a serious issue for professional work…but I only had it happen when ripping a ton of slow mo an

FX3 or R6V
Imo the FX3 doesn’t generally would make sense in a vacuum but there is competition and Sony has allegedly registered the FX3ii which means it will probably be released soon. I think the biggest pros for the FX3 are lowlight, great autofocus, easy to edit files, full sensor 4k and also compatibility
