RE VIDEOGRAPHY

When shooting listing videos with my Sony ZV-E1 (Same sensor and processor as the FX3 or A7SIII) and either my Viltrox 16MM F1.8 for the majority of the shots or my Tamron 28-75 F2.8 for detail shots, I typically shoot in 4K60, so depending on the lighting conditions in each room, I'll typically sho

How much do you pay your photographer for the listing photos?

I generally use a Sony zv-e1 with a 12-24mm lens but also have a canon 90d with a 10-18mm lens I used for years. I use the Sony because of its superior video. I rig it on a DJI rs4 and also use a DJI mavic 3 classic drone. The Sony isn’t the best photo camera but certainly does well enough for my ne

ZR Owners - How is the AutoFocus and Inbuilt Stabilization compared to Sony Cameras?

I replaced a Sony ZV-E1 with the Nikon ZR. I also have a Sony A7CII. The screen was a factor in my switch to the ZR. The ZV-E1 was difficult to use on bright days. I've been very happy with the ZR screen. Autofocus was definitely better on Sony, but the ZR is not bad. I don't shoot anything super fa

Sony ZV-E1 or FX3 is the video quality actually the same?

yeah a lot of people hate on the ZV because it offers so much compared to the high price of entry for an FX3. Its more than enough for most people starting out. If Im being real though, the overheating is a serious issue for professional work…but I only had it happen when ripping a ton of slow mo an

What are you using to film your videos? Smartphone or DSLR?

Depends on your needs to be honest. Tonnes of people film on a phone and make great videos. Tonnes more film on phones and make trash. Same can be said of DSLR. But they both have their uses depending on HOW and where you film, and the look you're going for. Personally, I do my talking head and stud

How do you find the S9 as a main dad cam?

Yes but with a few issues. No flash support/mech shutter is the first con, second con would be lack of smaller primes right now since most most of the lumix lenses are big and or heavy right now. I really like my S9 for it's good mobile workflow and luts, especially if you're using it mainly for pho

Hello ZV E10, E10 Mark II Users. If we crank up the ISO to max, can we capture a video like this? I know. Not photo using Long Exposure. But a video. Is it possible?

Since I specialize in filming in extreme lowlight nature.. (for Docu/TV etc) And since I often shoot the night sky. I can tell you that Capturing the Milky Way like that in video... that will take way more than what the E10/E10ii are capable off. Their Max ISO in video is 32.000 And even with a ligh

Sony ZV-E1 vs FX30 for cooking videos (Food Content Creator)

the fx30 is the smarter pick for food work because the super35 sensor gives you more depth of field at similar apertures - easier to keep that whole pan in focus. pair it with the sony 90mm macro or the sigma 18-50 f2.8 for top-down shots. if you want extra pop in those reds and oranges, grab a tiff

What Would You Like To See If Viltrox Were To Actually Make A Camera?

Sony has improved things a LOT with their Dynamic Active stabilization, but it does add quite a crop. On the 12mp ZV-E1 or FX3, it means video frames get upsized to get back to 4k. It looks like the FX3 II is going to be 16mp which should help a lot with that.

SLog2 Picture Profile-Lut on FX3

Thx for the sLog2 Lut, really like how it always lifted the shadows just slightly, even in 10-bit I much prefer it over sLog3 for my type of extreme Lowlight (Starry/Moon-lit landscape) filming. Cine2 would have been useful as well, but I think it was because on the a7s2 you saw difference in Noise
