New A7s III firmware update 5.0
The one that gets me most is still no variable shutter adjustment for flicker in video. Even the ZV-E10 Mark II has that. It can't be a feature that Sony's gate keeping so I am at a loss there.

Good 4k 60fps camera to complement my FX30 as a secondary camera?
A6700 is what you are looking for. It’s been on sweet deal in Europe for 1100€. So maybe you will find one in US for under 1000$, cause your prices don’t have sales tax. The other choice would be also ZV E10 II, but only if you plan to film with it on tripod or gimbal at all times as it has 1.1x cro

Firmware 4.0 causes S-LOG3 to be noiser at 640 and 12800
I feel like I agree, having shot a ton with mine before and after firmware updates. I do think there is more noise, BUT the image is a little more detailed, kind of like when the FX3 got the built in noise reduction lowered. A7S3 still has the aggressive noise reduction in comparison, but maybe a bi

Debating on ZV-E10 II or A6700
A6700 over the ZV-E10 II for me. Lack of EVF + IBIS are two major things. If the price is the same, A6700 all the way. What is the price of the A6700 you’re looking at and the price of the ZV-E10 II you’re looking at?

Sony Cameras Recommendations for Work
To answer your question directly, no it is not OA to go full frame if you are serious about professional work. But let me give you an honest breakdown of your options. The ZV-E10 II is a content creator camera first. It is capable but not the right tool if your goal is professional photography and v

What camera is best for ceremonies?
For a sony camera that won’t overheat ever just get some FX30s. I use 2 FX3s and 2 FX30s for wedding ceremonies and have never ever had heat issues. You could maybe do ok with the ZVE10ii or something, but I wouldn’t want to risk it.

Help buying flash & night shots ?
The ZV E10 II is really not a camera meant for still photography. It lacks a mechanical shutter and only has a flash sync speed of 1/30. For comparison most entry mirrorless cameras have a sync speed of 1/160 to 1/250. Even with a 1/30 shutter a lot of people report issues with flash with the E10 II

Is there something better than Lumix GX85 in the similar price range and size?
You have conflicting priorities. In a lot of ways most phones are better than a GX85 for video - autofocus, formats, etc. GX85 has very outdated autofocus technology and video formats. I cannot describe it as “good”. I describe Panasonic G9 as “OK” and Panasonic G9II as “good”. Phones are on G9II le

beginner cameras 1000 dollar budget?
I’d get a used BMPCC4K and take advantage of the Super 16 2.6K crop to use vintage cine lenses with an adapter. You could get a C mount to MFT adapter to use Cooke Ivotal lenses, or an Arri B mount or Arri S mount lens to MFT adapter. You could also adapt Arri-S lenses with $149.00 Rafcamera Arri St

Buying my first camera, is Sony ZV-E10 Mark2 good for it?
If your main interest is in photography then the ZV-E10ii is not ideal mainly because it's lacking a mechanical shutter. This means you can't expose more than 30", you may have some issues with light frequency resulting in lines in the photo and you'll loose the romantic shutter sound 😉 Also that ca
