The one that gets me most is still no variable shutter adjustment for flicker in video. Even the ZV-E10 Mark II has that. It can't be a feature that Sony's gate keeping so I am at a loss there.

ZV-E10 for pictures as it has a mechanical shutter. The video isn't bad either when you want to use it. Assuming you mean the ZVE10 Mk I, s-log is not worth it. That camera can only record in 8bit, either internally or over HDMI. S-log does not work well in 8bit. For a sony camera that won’t overheat ever just get some FX30s. I use 2 FX3s and 2 FX30s for wedding ceremonies and have never ever had heat issues. You could maybe do ok with the ZVE10ii or something, but I wouldn’t want to risk it.
