The Office was shot on Sony broadcast style cameras, I think the SRW9000? These are 2/3” CMOS with a B4 mount common to most broadcast cameras. The lenses used on these kinds of cameras are often extreme focal ranges, like 8mm-120mm, and usually are par focal, allowing those crash zooms to be extra

What do you mean? As an FX3 user for 4 years, the only things I don't like about the C50 is the lack of IBIS and the RF lens ecosystem. Otherwise, it basically kills the fx3 in every way. 7k internal open gate in raw, top handle with XLR's, smaller body than C70, etc. Would love to know what makes y

Easy rigs for stabilizing purposes are pointless. An easy rig is for HEAVY camera rigs to help with the weight. This is all. This is what it does. Stop using them for an FX3. Most cinema lenses are nonsense. Cinema lenses that add specific texture are the exception. I shot a commercial half on Cooke

What evidence points to you believing there will be an fx3 mk2? Search the history here and like every other post is something exactly like this. Nobody knows, but it's more likely they update the fx6 before. The fx3 is a great camera, even if a mk2 comes out. If you have "new camera" money and need

100% the FX2. The price difference just isn't big enough to bother with the FX30. You get full frame, an EVF, AI autofocus, a mechanical shutter, and a new, beefier fan. Since it's going to be a backup for the FX3, going with FF makes matching your shots and sharing lenses so much easier. You also w

I've used the FX30 for everything from filming concerts in dark clubs to documenting US Air Force operations. Its a stellar camera. Its a great compact size that is a great platform to be rigged out for bigger productions. There are decades of S35 cine lenses that can be adapted to it and it has jus

The fx3 is an amazing camera and I hope that your dream comes true!! For stills I have the A7R IV which I love too! Nothing beats So

The FX3 is great but you yourself are worried about a new version releasing, and I would be too. It's 5 years old and in many ways a Nikon ZR for 1/2 the price is a better camera. You should also consider that camera with an adapter so you can use your Sony glass. The A7V has better AF and a more de
