The overall image is excellent, but it's easy to blow the highlights. I had the camera, and you do need to expose for the highlights. It didn't have as much dynamic range as my Sony full frame. I think you buy the fp not for technical superiority, but for the image, color science, and overall qualit

A7S III is more of a video focused camera. Maybe get the A7 III, or look into an A7IV because Sony has been doing a lot of sales on those recently.

Could you show an example of a camera that is capable of outdoing what the A7S3 can provide for professionals and hobbyists? For the same market price. Yes, there isn't a camera in the same price range that can match the features of the A7S III. Native 4k 120, incredibly fast readout / low rolling s

Valid concern. That being said, the A7Siii was engineered with a reinforce copper heatsink which other cameras like the a6500 didn't have, Sony did this on purpose to prevent overheating. This meant the A7Siii tended to not have overheating issues. That being said for professional work I understand

DSLR. Sony A7Siii usually with a 24 or 35mm G-Master lens. I’m full time though with almost a million subs. I wouldn’t recommend spending that money if someone is new. I did a Sony a6500 for a long time with a sigma 16mm 1.4. Before that was a Canon 90D (upgraded for the 4k). Before that Canon 80D.

I got started by cold emailing all production companies and agencies in my area my reel and that I shoot on the FX3. Sure, clients won't know, but if you're freelancing, production companies prefer the FX line if they're in Sony. When it came time for me to get a B cam, I asked if they would prefer

I have the A7S iii and my friend has the FX3. I really thought I needed the FX3…until I used them both. There is virtually nothing I can’t do on the A7Siii that I can do on the FX3. I am not going to lie, I regretted my A7Siii purchase primarily because I was pissed at all the firmware updates the F

I’m primarily video, so I bought with that in mind, but I’ve been using a Sony ZV E10 and their mid range 70-300mm lens. The lens is great, but the body is verrrryy much budget, it’s one of the cheapest things they offer that’ll shoot 4K. I also have a 10-20mm wide lens for B roll and some vlogging,
