3 fast moving objects captured with infrared camera - Nov. 24, 2025 around 10pm PST - Los Angeles, CA

Google "a7sii IR conversion" Many companies exist that wil remove the IR Cut filter that lines your sensor allowing you to do IR photography. Just know that this will dramatically change your camera, and there IR cameras you can buy that exist for the same price as this conversion will cost you. Per

Buyers remorse Sony A7S II

Sounds like you might be inexperienced at this point which is fine. Unless you can afford to upgrade to a a7siii, I would consider keeping the camera. Shaky footage: use a tripod, get a top handle, or gimbal. That's what everyone does with any camera. You said the screen is tiny, buy an external mon

Awesome cherry blossoms

The A7sii is perfect for this kind of work, especially with that sensor handling the bright sky without blowing out the blossoms.

Questions about s5iix

Moire shows up now and then on my Lumix cameras, but it’s not just a Lumix issue. I saw moire back when I shot on Sony. I’ve owned the Sony A7SII, A7II, A7RII, A7III, and A7IV, and they all had minor moire problems as well. There are third-party fixes like the Kolari OLPF clip-in filter, but honestl

200-800 USD Budget, Confused, Any Begginer Device For Me?

Thanks for the reply.I looked at similar models from other brands. Initially, I was considering the A7III, but then I downgraded a bit to a cheaper model. I decided on the A7sII. Looks like Sony A7SII (330-500 USD) + 50mm f/1.8 (170-250 USD) is perfect match for me. %60-70 video, %30-40 photo. IBIS,

Returning my FX30 - What's the right upgrade from GH5 for event/social media work?

You are me... Shot on the GH5 with 18-35 for years. Love the image and set up, DPs and producers thought I was shooting on a Red. But it obviously has some limitations. I got hired for a project that for me justified an upgrade, but like you didnt want to shell out a bunch of money. I ended up pulli

Sony A7SII Astro Mod, does anyone have an IR leak solution?

Would love any updated info on this. As a docu filmer, I am specialized in 'extreme lowlight video, filming nature in pretty severe dark situations with often only some moonlight or starlight being the only light sources. How much of an effect will that internal IR LED affect video? (Talking about I

Sony A7SII Astro Mod, does anyone have an IR leak solution?

Hah yeah I thought, i'd try and see if I get a response.. --glad you did! And, good to hear! Online it's so confusing or rather no info at all concerning the internal ir light having any effect on video. (There's only talks about astrophotography.. So a Full Spectrum a7sii doesn't have problems with

Sony BRC-AM7- rival Panasonic 160?

I just made a video about the tacking and I totally agree with droussev about the quality of the tracking and framing. I just wish it had a larger sensor. I also did a side by side with the Sony A7Sii and Sony FX9 so you can see the comparison: https://youtu.be/EgzhmxNW_Yw
