OLED vs Glossy Mini-LED — My Experience After Owning and Returning Multiple OLED Monitors (Version 2)
I think I said it in your other post too, but if you get an S95F in there, it would blow any MiniLED out of the water. Heck, maybe even an S90F. You liked your QN90C better than an LG C series because OLED TVs below 55" behave a lot closer to monitors in terms of brightness than their larger variant

Can modern MiniLED actually replace OLED for dark room gaming?
The local dimming algorithm is arguably more important than the zone count. Most external monitors, except the Apple Studio XDR, have such bad local dimming in SDR that it's better turned off there. And turning it off means it looks exactly like an edge-lit LCD. TVs usually have much better algorith

Difference between VA Mini LED vs IPS Mini LED?
I disagree with this notion, while local dimming is enabled they will be similar, there are going to be many instances where you can't use local dimming. Like websites and YouTube. Because the blooming will be pretty noticeable. With a good VA like the Odyssey neo g7/g8 the contrast ratio will be hi

Deliberately Burning In My QD-OLED Monitor - 15 Month Update
Samsung Odyssey Neo G7.Very impressed for a backlit VA panel. I'd return to OLED if it was just for gaming and media but while I have need to work at home its a great compromise.

Mini LED or OLED monitor?
Cheap VAs are ass and have terrible ghosting. High-end (or even just higher-end/we-spent-all-our-money-on-the-panel VAs) like the TCL stuff, Samsung Neo G7, or AOC Q27G40XMN are IMO better all-rounder displays than most IPS options at their price range unless you're doing professional color work and

Looking for Top of the line, NON OLED monitor money can buy.
As long as it's centered as viewing angles are horrible, I can vouch for the Neo G7 32".- a 4k MiniLED VA. It's not like the cheap VAs that will black smear. There's also a 240hz Neo G8 but it has scanline issues, because this panel can't handle 240hz properly, and has some horrible greasy ultramatt

VA vs IPS in 2025, not many IPS panels available.
You just need a better VA. A lot of panels are supposedly like that, but my Odyssey G7 is pretty great. Right now, G7 and G8 Mini LED monitors look like good options.

Gaming monitor for 4k on a 5070?
At that price, all 4k monitors will be dogshit, unless you snatch a good MiniLED/OLED open box deal. Your 5070 is good enough for 4k in power alone, but is heavily bottlenecked by the 12gb of VRAM. I always recommend 4k over 1440p, but in your case I'd rather go 1440p. Just make sure it's a MiniLED

What is the best monitor for productivity and gaming. I want to avoid OLED for now. So best IPS or miniLED I suppose?
I have a samsung odyssey neo G7 (32” curved). It’s a VA miniled panel and it’s fantastic. The Black smearing of old VA is a thing of the past. It has very bright HDR with deep blacks etc no worries about butn in and HDR is very good. Only issue is you have to get used to the curve but it’s easily go
