Mini-LED Monitor - Is my this the right decision? (MSI MPG 271KRAW16)

Don’t expect decent dimming from anyone except Samsung and Apple on their miniLED/FALD monitors. MSI/LG…. all use generic chip with fixed algorithm which doesn’t differentiate between content or have any smart. It’s like giving a machine gun to a monkey. I’ve given up on miniLED monitors. Either you

I bought this brand new Samsung 32” odyssey G51F QHD. Why does it look like dogshit?

I bought the same monitor off Marketplace for $100. It looked brand new. I brought it home, hooked it up and immediately noticed the VA blur. I had a G7 curved VA that never looked this bad. I know they are two different tier monitors from Samsung but I figured by now they’d be using their better VA

Samsung Odyssey G7 vélemények?

Ez a kép alapján a G7 G70D. Tavaly megjelenéskor vettem a 27"-es verzióját 60k-ért mert félreárazták lol Eredeti áron nagyjából 200k lett volna mikor kijött, annyit nagyon nem ér.. de a mostani kb 140-150-t se a tapasztalataim alapján. Plusz nekem mindig valamiért fura nyomásérzetet és fáradtságot o

MSI MPG 274URDFW E16M vs AOC U27G4XM — real user comparison (SDR vs HDR)

I've had a number of mini-leds over the years including the two AOC VA mini-leds I use now. If you have an IPS mini-led that doesn't wash out on an SDR Windows desktop, then it's not actually doing much if any local dimming in that mode. The MSI with dimming disabled is the same as the AOC with it t

I bought this brand new Samsung 32” odyssey G51F QHD. Why does it look like dogshit?

Kinda the whole internet knows that this monitor is dogshit at this point, tbh. Samsung are positioned in the premium segment nowadays - their ONLY good panels are the OLEDs and the top tier MiniLEDs - the Neo range. Everything else is edge-lit random panel low quality stuff, just like any other non

HDR in DLSS 4.5 Preset M - night and day difference, compared to preset K

Samsung VA is the only real except. My Odyssey G7 1440p 240hz (no miniled) has no black smear. It does have worse VRR flicker than my OLED tho which is weird.

ELI5 the difference between IPS, Mini-LED, OLED, and others.

What is your phone ? Check to see if it is AMOLED/OLED. You can put that next to your monitor and play the same video to see the differences between that and IPS. From my experience going from ips to va to oled: I've owned 4 monitors so far: -27" 4k 60hz IPS, I got it because I wanted to experience

What’s the best 4K 32" (or 27”) mini LED monitor you can actually buy or is coming out soon?

Ok so I've tried it. The main things I don't like are the heavy matte coating that shows up badly during white bright scenes, and the slight black smearing. For some reason, unless HDR is on, I notice the blooming algorithm flicker more. The dimming algorithm is so good with HDR on I wish it were th

How do I make this stop happening?

But still, even in this photo, the blooming is pretty massive. And if you're slightly off-anfle it looks even worse. That is to say, I fully realize that the camera overexposes it a lot more than human eyes would. What also no one but Apple, and to some extent Samsung, can do for some reason, is tun

[Help] Upgrading brother from 32" 4K 60Hz — Dilemma between 4K High Refresh vs 1440p OLED

Neo G8 isn't a choice, bad display, banding, smearing, bad colors, no solutions from Samsung, Neo G7 is better.
