A rig is never done, but I’m happy with where the money pit is.
I paid 550 CAD each for 3x 27" OLED 180Hz 1440p (Samsung Odyssey G5 QD-OLED G50SF). You can upgrade the firmware and they support 10-bit color at 180Hz as well. AMAZING value for the money. Feedback on VA Panels?
It’s not a great monitor. Ghosting and black smearing is pretty bad. The newer 2025 G5 is much better. I use it daily for gaming. Odyssey or Ultragear?
Go with the Samsung Odyssey G50D. It’s 32", 1440p, 180hz, and looks great for gaming or work. It’ll probably get cheaper on Black Friday too. I’m planning to get one then too :)
