Well, first things first, you should buy the 2024 G80SD instead of G81SF. Its matte coating is much better, and, you can access the service menu to do a HDR1000 mod.I can link you the details if needed. G81SF has uglier coating, and service menu is impossible to access. Why are you looking for matte monitors ? If your room is very bright, OLED isn't the best choice, matte or not. To answer your question: I can vouch for Samsung's "first generation" matte coating, so the one used for the G60SD and G80SD. I heard their newer coating is more grainy. There are also man
