Is this a real Samsung SSD?
Yeah, as stated, Samsung OEM drives unfortunately dont work fully with Magician. This is a Lenovo drive, LEN(ovo) Part Number SSS0L25196, you can search for it. There's a few different part numbers on there. The actual drive is a PM9A1, pretty good one, here: https://www.techpowerup.com/ssd-specs/sa

Perfomance issues
It also depends on the type of files you’re handling and if RAW- the speed of the drive where your RAW cache is being stored. What files are you processing? Large RAW files? For example, I run an old Ryzen9 5900X with an RTX3090 & 32GB 4000mhz RAM on Samsung 980 Pro 4tb editing drives & Toshiba MG E

First gaming pc build (recommendations or changes appreciated)
If you do buy used, I only recommend buying from eBay under these conditions: Seller has a high rating, 100% positive Seller has a lot of ratings, generally safe number imo is 100+. Be sure to look over their reviews under the "As Seller" tab. Make sure the item has eBay guarantee on it When you rec

Should I use a used NVME or a new but slower one?
980 at 100TBW is probably fine. If you only use one, I’d pick the Samsung and keep backups. Any reason you can’t run both?

Sabrent Reviews: Is it actually worth the price?
I’ve got a couple of their USB powered hubs, 3 of their powered drive enclosures, and an nVME drive. I have no complaints about any of them. The nVME drive is easily on par with the Samsung 980/990 units that I have alongside it.

I need to build PC but I don't know some basics
Different manufacturers take the same base chip and add their own cooling solutions, power delivery systems and features which affects price and performance. The gigabyte gaming version probably has better cooling or higher factory overclock than the cheaper asus one For RAM yeah ddr5 is ddr5 but sp

Do I remove these stickers?
You could sell it and buy a stick with a blacked out sticker. I sort of wanted the look and always had good success with Samsung and Western Digital drives so I went with the former, a 980 or 990 Pro.

Any better SSD for ~150€?
The P310 is solid choice for that price range! I got similar one last year and works great in my laptop setup. Maybe check if you can find WD Black or Samsung 980 Pro on sale - sometimes they drop to around 140-150€ and give you bit better performance for future builds 🔥 Just make sure whatever you

which ssd should i choose
I'm using an Orico TB4 enclosure with a Samsung 980 Pro 2TB for over 3 years now and it is really fast and realiable comparing to Samsung T7 which I used previously, so I recommend it too. The enclosure+nvme combo was a reasonable investment before ssd prices went crazy.
