Portafilter office setup (~60 shots per day) [no budget]
We had a Rocket R58 and Eureka grinder pair in all our floors of my previous company's office. Terrible idea, go with a superautomatic. People are gross. I was the one who maintained the one in my floor, but you should've seen the others.

Can someone help identify what this is?!
This is one of the reasons Rocket Espresso doesn't recommend descaling yourself. Its hard to completely flush descaler or citric acid out of the system entirely. This is why I took my boilers out of my r58 to descale.

Small Cafe in a Gym setup
Sa opinion ko Go with either commercial 1gr machines since you can afford it. Yung mga commercial grade na machines, designed na walang patayan. Matibay ang internals, yung isa nga lang naka armani, yung isa naka levi’s. Yung r58 commercial nga internals, pero down sized. Issue rin r58 kung walang a

Parting ways with my Robot
That’s just another mechanical lever machine like the robot. Where’s the pump driven espresso machine that doesn’t use plastic? If one of your core arguments is not wanting plastic parts, then outside of the manual espresso machines, such as the robot, you will pretty much find nothing, no matter ho

Made a shot bot for my tamp mat
You and I think alike! I started down the path putting a load cell under the top part of the drip tray of my Rocket R58 before chickening out. I'd used one once to hack a tea kettle to send push notifications when it was empty. I found that to be a little fiddly with the cheap-o controllers I was us

At Home Set Up Advice [$3000-5000]
I would prefer the Bianca to the other machines on your list, unless the Rocket machine is a R58. You should also consider machines from Profitec and ECM. Do some internet research on the X54; reviews I've seen are very mixed. For home use you might consider a single dose grinder, which would be a b

Upgrade from hx v pump to dual worth it? [$500-2500]
If it's just for home use and you don't want to plumb it in, it's not worth it to get a dual boiler over a heat exchanger. I only got my Rocket R58 (dual boiler) over the Appartamento (HX) so I could plumb it in, but a couple friends of mine have Appartamentos and that machine works just as well for

Wendougee Data S Espresso Machine
I’ve had my setup for the last three months and couldn’t be happier with the machine. Went from a Rocket R58 to the Wendougee and you cannot compare the two. Rock solid build, excellent machine!

Poor Rocket espresso, ask your self if you want Rocket on your table
Draining and packing an R58 is certainly a drag. You replaced it with a machine (The Linea Mini R) that weighs broadly the same (32kg). So unless your local tech is giving you on-site visits, you're exposed to the same issue when regular service is required. Is there really nobody servicing Rocket E

Brought a Rocket Appartamento back to life!
I did notice that a large seller had a lot of open box Rocket machines available. I had a R58 with flow control that had problems and I think the flow control problem was probably one or two ill fitting or wrong gaskets as not sure if that part was from Italy, EU or Asia, but their build quality lea
